Re: Recording and mixing with headphones..
I do all my writing and mixing with headphones.. Sennheiser Monitor headphones, cant remember the model, but they sound flat to me. I would drive my gf and housemate batshit crazy if I used monitors. I just bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 PRO. A big difference compared to my old cheaper headphon...

Recording and mixing with headphones..
I´m pretty new in the world of recording and sequencing. I´m using a Supreme cd 90 headphone for the moment when I´m recording. I also got a pair of ALP 5 active monitors. Even they are real monitors it sounds so crappy when I listen to the songs in the monitors compared to the headphones. It´s almo...

Re: Just you and a synth and a bottle o' rum
I dont know...Maybe a Mini Moog. But I´m also a piano player. I need some s**t with great piano sound as well. Maybe a Korg Oasys. I know that there are many who dislike these workstation synths but I don´t give a s**t about that... But I would definitely prefer Keira Knightley before any synth in t...

Re: Roland Fantoms
I need a workstation, a real piano sound is only one definate need. I'm not a big fan of Kurzweil, I owned one but sold it. I'm debating between a Roland fantom , a Korg M3 or a Yamaha Motif or similar. My budget is around $1500. Any preferences? Your inputs are greatly appreciated! *I don't need s...

Drums on Depeche Modes Strangelove
Anyone who knows what the guys used for the drums in the albumversion of Strangelove?? I have heard a rumour that they used a Roland TR-808 drum machine. I don´t know...I find the beat really addictive for som reason. Simple but powerfull...

Re: Recording without a computer
I use a Roland Fantom G. I tried before to create music by using Cubase and my old Yamaha CS2x but it never worked out. For an amatuer and a technical idiot  like me the Fantom is easy to use. All stuffed together in the Synth....You don´t have to worry about having the right soundcard....t...
