hi i got an akai remix16, alsmost the same machine as the s20. sometimes the ERRROR message happens to me, i think the floppy reader is half dead; but other times things work...

i think that micron and xio are in the same kind of field in terms of vesatitlity. i got the xio25, it sounds very cool but it is badly built indeed, don't know for the xio49...

I own the matrix1000, the juno106 and the jv1080
While the first 2 are instant drone/ambient a la boards of canada (just an example), I find the jv more vesatile but you have to work it a bit

What's neglected in these resources is comments on the more sophisticated PSR series that still used FM. Yamaha didn't make too many of them, but they made the previously mentioned ones (the PSR-90 has a page dedicated to it on Legoluft), and also the far more advanced arranger type FM boards, the ...
