Because of my situation (re-locating interstate) I'm a bit time-poor, so I don't think I'll bother with the replacement...I may just chuck it up on eBay explaining that one of the keys aren't operational.
Hi Guys...I have a Roland Juno-2 that I'd liek to sell, but I'm not sure how much I should sell it for. Any suggestions? Cosmetically it's A+, one key isn't working (bottom D) and that's about it. Any ideas would be appreciated
Yeah I haven't dabbled in the horiozontal mode yet. Hopefully it'll work out okay. Also while a few people are here, what are your thoughts on buying presets and loops? There seems to be a LOT of places around the web that offer them. Are there some widely trusted/industry-accepted sites you guys ca...
Nice, nice. I was going to study English and History back in the day (when I wanted to be a teacher), but I ended up in ICT and Commerce instead. Congrats on finishing. Let the music begin huh! @joshy: yeah I'm loving at the moment. Have already given the trial copy that it comes with to a friend wh...
Sure - I'll keep it in mind. I took the inexpensive approach (just for now) and got a jack adapter so I just plugged it right into my soundcard. Works fine for now. Come the time for an interface I'll check back in and see what you guys recommend. Ableton is crazy overwhelming...going to take all su...
Synth masters. Thanks for all your advice over the last few weeks. Just an update: Ableton Live 8 is on its way in the mail, and the MPK49 is going really well. Looking forward to sonic goodness. Silly question. The MPK49 has no output or input jacks in the back. How would I go about plugging it int...
Awesome - I'll check it out. I understand the logic behind it...maybe I should just embrace it for what it's worth ;) While you're here - another odd thing...in Ableton Live 8 Lite, when I drag a loop into the mix it automatically changes it to a MIDI track and no sound comes out when I press play. ...
Hi! Yes I have the controller, and am very pleased with it. What a machine! All very new to me so I'm still getting use to all the controls. It came, as you know, with Ableton Live 8...which I'm really enjoying at the moment. I downloaded a demo of Reason as well but didn't enjoy the interface as mu...
Wow - it looks so good. Few quick questions: how does the licensing work? If I were to buy this piece of software and split the price with a friend would we both be able to use it?
Also what are your thoughts in regards to getting the suit over just Ableton Live? Is it worth the extra cost?
Thank you for the replies guys. Live 8 looks very impressive. Once I get my controller I'll grab a copy of the demo and see how I feel with it. I love the inclusion of the built-in lessons...a lot of these DAW's look rather intimidating to a simple bass player like me. Looking forward to sinking my ...
Either. I'd lean more towards using my Mac as it's specs are more suitable for this kind of thing, but it's dual-booted with Windows...so I guess it doesn't really matter. I'll be doing a mixture of recording at home but also playing live form here to there (hence Omnisphere - I hear it's a great th...
