Re: Sell my Dave Smith MEK to buy a _____ ???

Is there anything you feel you're currently missing in terms of sound? It seems like you can cover a pretty broad sonic range already. You're not exactly short of instruments, so maybe it'd be worth spending the money on more outboard?

Re: Synths with audio + midi over USB?

The only other two I can think of are the Novation Xiosynth and Yamaha mox6/mox8. Not sure whether you'll be able to use more than one at a time. Is that even possible with ASIO? Having said that, I do recall, when I was using Macs, that you could combine more than one audio interface into a larger ...

Re: Big decision - many options. Need assistance.

I can definitely recommend the Vermona Mono Lancet. It's got a big sound, smooth controls and fantastic build quality for a cheap little synth. However, like most synths, it has it's pros and cons. Re: New Mono Synth from Vermona

I also came up with a simple audio demo a while back, tracked part by part into Reaper. I'm no great keyboard player, so don't be expecting anything amazing, but at least it shows it's capable of something other than acid.

Re: New Mono Synth from Vermona

That was a quick video I made to show the Mono Lancet working with the intention of selling it. Not because I dislike it, but because I'm in need of a keyboard and it would have been a good way to help raise funds towards it. I just can't bring myself to part with the Lancet, though. It has quite a ...
