I put up some new tracks of mine as an EP on Soundcloud and Bandcamp under my Impromptu name. I was originally trying to limit it to a couple synths, but ended up using pretty much all the gear I own at some point, with some vocals.

It's weird because i've been listening to On The Threshold a lot lately. My dad used to have a Windham Hill sampler with it. I just ordered a copy of the Vapor Drawings album on ebay.

Does anyone have any idea what the synth music was that was used in this Out of Africa trailer? It's not from the actual movie score by John Barry. I like the repeating theme that begins at 20 sec. And the piece at the end sounds a bit like Tangerine Dream, but I dont recognize it. *EDIT* Found them...

P.S. To my surprise, Fiedel mentions in the interview that one of the synths used was an ARP 2600. I wonder if that's correct because I can't recall him mentioning that synth in any of the emails I've received from him. Very interesting! I had never read that before either. i'd like it just to put the different parts around my house as random conversation pieces, but wouldn't spend more than 10 bucks.
