Re: Casio FZ1

Thanks for the reply Ahaigh01! I suspected the speed would be limited with HxC. I have seen that page about the sd scsi "Casio FZ-20M Requires TERMPWR jumper. The manual shows the pin25 of the DB25 connector is "not connected". May require scsi2sd-config --apple flag " But don't really understand if...

Is the Hxc compatible with SCSI or is just a floppy emulator?
Also is the speed of the Hxc any faster read/writes than standard floppy? I suspect the floppy controller is speed limited, but the HXc might be a bit swifter?

My real concern is to try and capture the way it's audio path is formed. The way it seems to morph and d...

Re: Capturing that EMS Synthi madness

Cheers guys, Thought that Boardweevil (and some of the other Bugbrand stuff) looked quite interesting but also lacking something. The on the other-hand, the Blippoo was not my bag atall. I found it just irritating, in the same way as circuit bent stuff is, imo.

Capturing that EMS Synthi madness

Hi, First post here! I was hoping for some help/guidance. I have owned a couple of mono single oscillator synths in the past and enjoyed them, i didn't fully understand them, so am more of self proclaimed fiddler and not a scientist. Messed about with plenty of softsynths but find computer screens a...
