Thanks - you mean that the little phatty would get me closer to the sound in that link than either the mopho or sledge? If so, I would probably give up the polyphony if I could replicate that tone more faithfully.

Thanks for feedback! Any opinion of which of these two gets closer to the sound I linked in the original post. That is the #1 target for me. I'm looking for something for live performance, polyphonic, warm, with tweakability without too much menu navigation in a live context. Around $1500 or less.
