I would remove the cap for the portamento pot and hit it with a little deoxit first, and see if that helps.., if not, the you may need to replace the pot

I saw this a while back, but tbh the limited sequencer is a big part of the charm with the original. Maybe if you are going to eurorack it up this would be a good board, but the originals are going for very cheap these days, so I chose to go that route.
