I can't find anything about it, but a seller claims that he's got an MK2 for sale - but he also doesn't know what difference between MK1 and MK2 exists...

Yes, I see the difference now.
I don't think mine has a spring in it, at least mine does not but it could've been fallen out.
My pedal also goes "flat" when you step off, probably because of some weight...

Pot reads 1.2k relaxed to 2.78k when the pedal is depressed. Only the middle three pins are used in the DIN cable

I know it's an old thread, but: is the TR-626 good for live jam? I mean, do you need to stop/start the sequencer to move from edit to play mode?
I love my TR-606 because I never have to stop it while jamming... would love the 626 too if it'd work the same way!

I clean the contact rails on synths all the time, and I use a soft white pencil eraser (NOT an abrasive ink eraser). I avoid anything that is abrasive including polishes, as the plating is very thin, and sanding it off will fix the problem beautifully by exposing bare base metal, but it will oxidis...
