Re: Reissues you'd like to see...
Yeah I'd love to think I could buy the JP-08 for $399 and get an authentic sounding Jupiter 8 reproduction, but from A/B demos I've seen, the Boutiques don't really cut it IMO. I did mess with the JP-08 at guitar center, and while it is a cool sounding synth module for the price, it's no Jupiter. T...

Re: Reissues you'd like to see...
The Mono/Poly is a great synth and would make a neat reissue but I don't think the markets really out there for it. She's such a strange girl that most guys just don't know what to do with her. Now if they combined the features of the Polysix AND the Mono/Poly and rolled out a new/retro monster syn...

Reissues you'd like to see...
Korg Mono/Poly would be my top choice. I want one so bad but I can't trust an original for reliable performance. Reasonable to think it could happen given that Korg seems to be one of the only companies interested in doing vintage reissues. But I'm guessing they would probably bring back the polysix...

Re: Should I sell my Juno 106 or my AN1X
I don't feel like I've really delved deep enough into the AN1X to really appreciate it, and it's just been sitting around. In the other thread you mentioned you loved the Juno's bass. If you have two synths, and you want to sell one, and one does something you love while the other just sits there, ...

Re: Should I sell my Juno 106 or my AN1X
Didn't you post a similar question already? Not really. The other question I asked was if the prophet six would replace my current 106/Korg R3 stage rig. In this thread I'm asking whether you would keep the Juno or the AN1X if you were going to sell one (which I'm guessing many will answer "keep bo...

Re: Should I Repair or Sell: Juno 106
I have a Juno with "refurbished" chips which works perfectly. You should be able to get the voice chips redone for about $150-250 USD if you are able to remove and reinstall the board yourself. There are several sellers on ebay doing this service, but do some homework because some are more reputable...

Should I sell my Juno 106 or my AN1X
And why? I have the AN1X on ebay now but I'm having second thoughts. I'm looking to purchase a prophet 6, so selling the Juno would obviously get me a lot closer to the $2,000 I will need for the prophet.

Re: Buying first synth, looking for something under $500
I'm selling my AN1X on ebay right now. A massively powerful VA synth for the money. Lots of good YouTube demos up.

Arpeggiate my Juno 106 with a Korg R3?
So I've searched this forum, and haven't found any details on how to arpeggiate one synthetic with another, and the R3 manual also has nothing on this topic. It seems like it should be able to do this, but I have no idea how. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am a midi novice and do not ...

Re: Can I replace my rig with a prophet 6?
No its not the chorus I'm afraid I'll miss. I love my Juno for bass, and use it for most of my bass sounds. Will I be able to get the great bass sounds that I get when I max the sub oscillator on the juno, and will I be as satisfied with the envelopes? I'm figuring I would.

Re: Can I replace my rig with a prophet 6?
Nice, I figured I could tweak Juno sounds out if it. Plus, while the Juno chorus is sweet, it's also noisy. I should be able to get more than half of the money for a P6 from selling the juno, and I'll have a more reliable synth as well.

Can I replace my rig with a prophet 6?
I'm currently using a Juno 106 and a korg R3 (basically the big brother to the microkorg). I'm loving everything I'm hearing of the prophet 6, and the P5 is probably my favorite vintage synth. My question is, is the P6 versatile enough to be my lead synth AND replace the Juno for basses and pads? I ...

Re: Put an HS-60 into a 106 chassis?
Because if you had one of each, both of which were used for spare parts, you'd rather have it in a 106 body if possible.megamanx wrote:isn't it the same thing? why bother?

Put an HS-60 into a 106 chassis?
Probably a stupid question, but I would assume this can be done unless there are physical size differences in some of the internal parts. Then I'd have a nice new 106 without the price tag.
