Re: Behringer about to release six (!) new synths
Even then it seems odd as the MS20 uses S-triggers, and is hz/oct. It would be usable but a bit out of place in eurorack imo. I wonder if they plan on converting it to V-triggers and 1v/oct to make it more at home in a modular, that would certainly seem appropriate.

Re: Midi, Synth,Sequencer, sampler NOOB looking for guidance
I wonder if the Kiwi-3P mod would work for this. I don't own a Kiwi-3P myself (though I own 2 JX-3Ps) but on their list of added features they mention: -8 Sequences & 16 Patterns can be stored and edited, Sequences & Patterns can be optionally linked to tones. It is also possible to temporarily edit...

This could tempt me away from my planned DeepMind 12 Desktop purchase if it's in the same price range.

Re: One synth songs
You may want to think about restrictions. Because one synth is really like having one oscillator and not much more, while another synth is a complete beast with multiple operators/oscillators and an effects section. I have a feeling that may get sorted out in the voting. For instance, one person mi...

Yea, I can't seem to check out your songs either. Anyways, MrFirechild did a series of 1 synth songs. Here's some of them:

Lol, I already guessed it a while ago, I just chose not to say the exact answer. Unique looking machine! I would like to try one out someday.

Re: Roland Juno 106 or Yamaha DX7 IID
That DX7 is a bit overpriced imo, I see them often go for ~$250-$300, on the other hand, $750 for a Juno 106 is a pretty great price! If you are new new to synthesis and want to learn about creating your own sounds, Juno 106. If you just want another keyboard alongside your other keyboards, the DX7 ...

I managed to figure out what it is, but I searched amongst your older posts to find out so I'm not sure if that classifies under cheatingVxster wrote:Just a bit of fun....older members please don't spoil it!!

Re: Roland Jx-3p dead key
It would be best to use something like a small clipped-off resistor lead and solder that over the gap. I would go a bit past the part that is damaged to make sure it gets a good connection as the solder probably won't take to the part of the trace that may be corroded. You'll probably want to find s...

Re: Roland Jx-3p dead key
If that's the key that doesn't work, then it'd definitely be the issue. You can either carefully sand/scrape off the green soldermask and solder on a jumper over the broken trace, or install a jumper wire. Just make sure the wire doesn't interfere with the key.

Re: Tats Is Leaving Korg ...
I don't mean this in a bad way, but I'm kind of glad Tats is leaving. He made amazing products for musicians on a budget, but this meant they all had to have compromises, whether it be limited voices, minikeys, or lack of actual knobs, as much as I like my Volca beats. possibly now we will see somet...

Re: What poly-synths can have separate envelopes per voice?
I believe the Xpander allows this, and allows you to treat each voice as a separate synth. I'm not 100% sure if each voice would then require a separate gate and pitch input though. Worth looking into. The Shear Electronics Relic-6 synth (an Oberheim-X remake I believe) has controls to vary the enve...
