Even then it seems odd as the MS20 uses S-triggers, and is hz/oct. It would be usable but a bit out of place in eurorack imo. I wonder if they plan on converting it to V-triggers and 1v/oct to make it more at home in a modular, that would certainly seem appropriate.

It would be best to use something like a small clipped-off resistor lead and solder that over the gap. If that's the key that doesn't work, then it'd definitely be the issue. You can either carefully sand/scrape off the green soldermask and solder on a jumper over the broken trace, or install a jumper wire. Just make sure the wire doesn't interfere with the key.
