Vintage vibes for MicroFreak - 260 original patches
Original preset pack for the Arturia MicroFreak. Lots of retro old-school and lo-fi charm, both analog- and digital-style sounds. It was a real labor of love to discover and bring out this quirky synth's unique character. Have a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz6t6-epXXw If you are interest...

90 original lo-fi and retro patches for the Arturia MicroFreak
Hello, I wanted to share this demo of the patches I made for the Arturia MicroFreak
I plan on making a bunch more patches. If anybody has any requests, I'd love to hear them.

Re: Kate Bush Running Up That Hill
To my ears the chords and the melody are the same sound. The chords just sound darker because that's the character of lo-fi digital samples pitched down. When I've tried to recreate the sound, I use the same for the melody and the chords.

Re: Beginner here needs some basic help
My old Ensoniq SQ80 synthesizer has a built-in sequencer that'll let you record and play back a whole song and layer different sounds. You can also hook a synth like a MicroKORG to your computer via MIDI and accomplish the same thing with DAW software. There are a bunch of free options around, just ...
