Re: Poly 800/no place for internal battery
I did see a remedy at one time, where one would solder a watch batter holder into the circuit to take the C batteries place but now I cannot find it.

Poly 800/no place for internal battery
I recently came across a Korg Poly 800 on the cheap that had no sound. I worked up a voice on it, shut it off, turn it on the voice is gone. I figure okay, internal battery is dead. Open it up, no internal battery, no place for one, never was one. I remember reading about this somewhere and it showe...

Re: Ensoniq ZR-76 stuck key
I posted on 4 different sites and youtube and never got an answer. I then grabbed the front post and tweaked it a little by hand. I don't know if that was what was causing it but the key is no longer sticking. I had to pull the panel boards to replace the encoders. I won't go into what a clusterfunk...

The casing was a bit charred, keys melted on it, the top control section mostly intact. I grabbed it and threw it in the truck. I came to find ou...

Re: Key cleaner
Thanx all. I would figure this problem to be solved, there may be more questions to come but you have all been a great help. I am just waiting for the parts to arrive and I will get back to work on it. In the meantime I have some guitar amps in the fire that I need to work on. Also, I have to figure...

Re: Key cleaner
I haven't looked into removing the keys and really don't want to, that would be a big job. I am sure it is possible, someone had to have put the action together. I will look into it. Maybe I can remove individual keys but from the cursory look I have given it I haven't figured that out yet. There ar...

Hello everyone, newbie here. I bought an Ensoniq ZR 76 for a hundred dollars, much of it is working but it needs some parts. I have to buy some new encoders and buttons. I have it completely apart at the moment and one key is sticking. What is the best product I can use to spray inside the keys to c...
