Re: Korg Minilogue - Arpeggiator wierdness
It seems that the Arpeggiator mode where it misbehaves the most is "RISE 1" in Poly mode. Now that you mention it, I was finding myself turning the "VOICE MODE DEPTH" knob to the left and setting it to "MANUAL" to fix it, and this does work on some patches (depending on the settings). Other patches ...

Korg Minilogue - Arpeggiator wierdness
I just recently purchased a Korg Minilogue and I usually hold down three notes to do a arpeggiated sequence. I notice that sometimes it will only play 2 notes even when i am holding down three. Is this a common complaint or is there maybe an OS update that fixes this? Also, I can't get the sound lib...

Re: Alesis Micron Screen flashes on and off then powers down
UPDATE: The Ablegrid 9V Adaptor did not make any difference in the Micron's behavior. It appeared to work fine for a few minutes, and then it started acting up like before. Must be something in the circuitry or a component on the board(fried capacitor maybe?) although I checked every capacitor with ...

Alesis Micron Screen flashes on and off then powers down
Hello synth friends. As the forum thread implies, I am having a bit of a dilemma with my Alesis Micron as of late. I'm using the 1.5 A power adaptor that shipped with it (always worked fine for me), but now for some reason i turn it on, and I'll be playing it...about 10 seconds later I'll hear a ("Z...

Why not just post some sort of substantive information regarding the instruments used?tim gueguen wrote:That's one of the most talked about early '80s electronic soundtracks, including on here as a quick search will discover.
I mean is it really that hard to type C-S-8-0?

What synth is used in the gold HQ scene in Blade Runner?
Anyone know what synth is used to produce the synth-brass sound playing right after Deckard tests the female to see if she is a replicant? It's during an outdoor golden skyscraper corporate headquarters scene, when the clouds and horizon-line footage goes into time-lapse video mode. It sounds like V...

Way Out Ware's KikAxxe Synthesizer - Anyone use?
Does anyone use this Arp re-creation?
Is it a self-contained all-in-one software, or VST?
Thanks

Re: Yamaha RY-8 Ext-In Question
There is a setting linked to the EXT-in called "Sensitivity". I think this would be a line level input equivalent.
Thanks

Yamaha RY-8 Ext-In Question
I just picked up an RY-8 on the cheap, and am wondering about its external-in feature. Now in the manual it says that normally a guitar would plug in to it. Has anyone tried to plug in something other than a guitar into this box? I would be curious if it could just be used like the audio-in on the e...

Re: Ridiculous eBay 'Buy-it-now' and starting bids.
Is there a recent artist who produced some genius works with the machine that would cause the sudden inflation?
If you do a search on ebay you'll see one in Japan for $399 starting bid as well. But that might just be due to the value of the dollar difference between countries?

Re: Name your all-battery-operated synth setup
Problem solved!
Got a DS lite w/ Korg DS-10+ for my birthday
Its funny how much it reminds me of Neil Landstrumm's old stuff on Peacefrog.
He must have used the real MS-10 on his "Brown by August" EP back in the day.
My DS's skin is even silver to match my TR-606!
