Re: Korg Mono Poly
That is one synth I completely regret selling. It is very Korg. It is excellent for sequences and arpeggios. Being able to run the OSC's one at a time was an awesome feature for me. Adjusting the volume levels and wave forms created some awesome grooves. I would agree is a little less in your face. ...

Re: Steve Moore
From a couple of years ago with Zombi, I can confirm the Polysix, P600, and Pro One. I have seen them live several times. Surface to Air, and Cosmos are pretty much identical to how they play the tracks live. I few triggered samples but everything was played live with those synths. Also the Source p...

Re: CV Compatibility between SH-101 and Mono/Poly
I also attest to the compatibility of the two. I used to own them both and link the two all the time. Never had an issue with the gates. Both are great synths.. enjoy!

Re: Ableton Live 8 - WOW!
I have been using live for over 5 years probably. 8 looks awesome with it external controls for looping. Currently I am using Live 7 with all of the bells and whistles. I have only used Digital Performer, but I will say some of the instruments in Live are disappointing. What I have seen about Logic ...

Re: Prophet 600 LED Issue
Thanks,
I am desperate. It has been too long. I am thinking of selling it if I can't resolve the issue.

Prophet 600 LED Issue
My prophet LED never changes from the reading "h.h". Everything functions, you just have to work blindly. I have replaced the membrane pad from the original and the same issue is present. I had a tech guy in NY look at it a few years ago but to no avail. It is obviously something on the board..what ...

Firewire sound card for G4
I need some help. I am looking for a portable firewire soundcard for my G4 laptop. In my band I really just need 2 ins (3 would be nice) and 1 out. I run two synths through Live 5 and just need a good live card, zero latency or not really audible latency. I was looking at the M Audio 410 and Presonu...

Check this link out. I use Live on a G4 powerbook for a lot of prerecorded tracks. I then play through other tracks live. This is a practice, but I use the same setup for gigs. This song has a lot of bass that was recorded in the studio and then used as our main sequence. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
