Re: musikmesse 2010 Frankfurt

I'm reading that it uses the hybrid technology from the spectralis. Half analogue half dsp. Are you saying it's totally digital/ dsp? I want to see where it says there's no analo-- oh dear. There's not as much to get excited about if it's that close to a virus or bloefeld or (griffin avid faints wit...

Re: musikmesse 2010 Frankfurt

I'm just suprised someone made a polyphonic analogue synth and it's being passed over for a hand held toy from korg. Yes, that's getting more attention than a polyphonic synth on vintage synth explorer.

Pretty shocking with all the genius product direction talk floated constantly on VSE.

Re: musikmesse 2010 Frankfurt

If that video Is from someone in the media who's just tooling around that's cool. But if that person is in any wAy affiliated with elektron it will be one more video that puts serious doubt in the minds of potential buyers that it's well, only good for c**p 'experimental c**p' like that. I have conf...

Re: musikmesse 2010 Frankfurt

I think Korg is seeing what kind of reaction and market there would be for them if they went further with an analog synth. I was going to say that I doubt it works that way. I think most of them look at what's already working and lean in that direction. When people go crazy over a tough screen doo-...

Jorg from Radikal has said: Jorg from Radikal has said: at the moment we are working on a new product that will be presented at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. No - it's not a Spectralis 3 and it's not a Spectralis keyboard version. But it is a very special keyboard... The name is: "ACCELERATOR" 3 Oscilla...

Re: musikmesse 2010 Frankfurt

Radikal Technologies (Spectralis) are unveiling a new hybrid synth keyboard called Accelerator.
I'm waiting on Jorg to post the images and product demos on the Radikal forum.
I can't wait to see this.

Re: Classic MPC-style hip hop with a Roland MC-808

I think it sounds nice. The only weird thing is that short stab type drop that cuts off so short.
Sounds a little fast for the track- so maybe you need to let more play after the initial attack.

Re: Software Drum Synthesizers vs machinedrum

Awesome. What does it offer sequencer-wise, creatively, besides the Step and Realtime recording?
Or is it the way you can manipulate the patterns/sequences after you've recorded them?

Re: Which Akai MPC

Well a two second visit to their sites FAQ reveals: Can I edit the sounds of my MPC1000 on a computer? Yes. Samples are standard WAV files and can be edited and processed in any sample editing software. Programs can also be edited offline on a computer using 3rd party Program editor freeware such as...

Re: Software Drum Synthesizers vs machinedrum

It's a pretty open ended quest for opinions. You don't say EXACTLY what slightly-blew your-mind . Is that even possible? The sound? The sound-sculpting options? The workflow? The Sequencer? I'd assume that it was the sound sculpting capabilities since you said no samples . I suggest you sell somethi...

Re: Software Drum Synthesizers vs machinedrum

Tough one. every drum machine I can think of uses samples somewhere in the engine. Hmph. I always thought microtonic was 100% synthetic. The only thing that comes to mind off the head is Drumatic 3. It was featured in PE Mag. e-phonic Drumatic Issue 03 (page 78). http://www.e-phonic.com/plugins/drum...

Re: MFB Nanozwerg, Urzwerg, Microzwerg & Megazwerg

We're talking about a relatively small market for things like this, and I think these manufacturers realize they get quite a bit of publicity from blogs and newsgroups. All companies do. People also don't buy their gear off of blogs and newsgroups. But a recommendation from the guy behind the count...
