Re: New drum machine / sequencer / MPC thing from Zoom
I actually don't think marketing is going to be an issue (for long). Wherever there's a hole, the users will fill it. Instead of watching them goof in their Outside-of-NAMM hotel room, it would be videos of early buyers making tracks. If one guy on VSE had one and posted proper demos or videos of hi...

Re: DSI MoPho
I have given the MoPho a few months. I still don't like it. There isn't anything wrong with it, but it never "fits in" or "feels just right". It sounds fine-- real analogue power and all that, but I don't particularly care to play it for long. Anyone else have this problem? Did it go away? Maybe I ...

Re: Moog Music interview with Amos Gaynes Applications Engineer
Yes. not that old, but ...I did three different interviews. One that was supposed to be in last issue- following the last NAMM and the second part was split among issues so technically this is part 1 and 2. Part 3 is very cool and it's timeless so Idecided I had enough synth meat for this issue. The...

Re: Whats your studio workhorse?
Roland Juno-G.
I don't find myself trolling through sounds like a lot of other modules.
Usually the first 3-4 are close enough to work. So when speed is an issue like an idea is slowly evaporating, I turn to it.

Re: One on One with genoQs Machines Gabriel Seher
Whose site? genoQs? --Producer's Edge ??? That's not a website, that's a digital magazine ... This is the website: http://www.producersedgemagazine.com/ That link sends you INTO the magazine and straight into the article. I figured it was much more honest to send you to to the point of this post the...

Re: DSI MoPho
I agree. Did yours come with a PDF Manual. It says it would be in the installed directory, but it's not. I'm trying to figure out how to make a Blank/Empty Soundbank and fill it over time with single patches.... It should be a librarian function, but I can't get it to work or fully tap into the func...

Re: Winter NAMM 09 flood begins
I've been waiting and waiting for a drum machine to arrive...one worthy of doing my drums without a whole lotta help. Ananlogue but future-reaching (no 808/909 clone) Looks like One of these new grooveboxes/midi controllers/software(s) might be the combination for now. Steinberg has one too supposed...

Re: Winter NAMM 09 flood begins
So one guy posts about 4 products and that's the summary of NAMM...? When did this forum become the Twilight Zone? 1 -Complaints about non-existent synths... 2 -Obsession on the appearance of a synth... 3 -Obsession on big companies verse small companies... 4 -Nolstagia over old gear that must not b...

Re: The end of the Moog Voyager OS
Maybe I'm the only fool here, but did ANYONE think this was going to be a monster seller? Was there any base of synth users who wanted 'features removed'? The Voyager was/is popular. For most, the VOS is a stripped down Voyager and a throwback piece. I squarely placed it in the box of signature-line...

Re: The end of the Moog Voyager OS
Glad i didn't buy one then.
What does that mean? If anything, you'd buy one and put it in storage knowing it's value is going to go up. I assume most of the parts match the Voyager so it's not like like you'll someday need replacement parts and have trouble finding them...
