Re: New stuff from Roland!

aww Damn, except that's not me.
That's Hanna, a former hardware specialist from Roland.
This just got worse.

I might really need to lay on a couch and speak to Commodorejohn.

Re: Korg MS-20 Kit

This NAMM seemed to have very few releases, but all of them make a list of possibles.

Re: New stuff from Roland!

I'll be so glad when this s**t is over, and we can either buy it or ignore it, and get on with ... I won't be. This is the most interesting this forum has been in a while. For some time it was a little too quiet. NAMM seems to have added some activity. I'm actually racking me brains for a snarky re...

Re: Air Drumming Reaches A New Level!

These are the kind of videos I was talking about missing from NAMM coverage when you only go around to the big 3.
This is incredible.

Re: New stuff from Roland!

You totally missed the point of the post you attempted to quote.

I have no problem missing the point and apologizing after the fact.
Where did I miss- what he meant?

Re: New stuff from Roland!

I know that to be the case after watching a few of your videos on YouTube. But the rest of us...well, we need a little more help. Hmm...I can't figure out if this is a sarcastic statement. Griffin Avi'd's youtube channel is filled with product demos and lots of coverage of previous NAMMs. And my pe...

Re: New stuff from Roland!

Roland is releasing a drum machine, not a vintage synth. And if the interest is Vintage Things, why get a wad over the stuff that doesn't arrive in 2014. Start a thread about 808/909 Mods or maintenance or simply gush over how awesome they were. ...we can't legitimately feel that this looks like bor...

Re: New stuff from Roland!

The collective internet response is going to be epic no matter what they announce. I'm going to take the opposite stand of NOT NEEDING a PRODUCT FROM GOD to make my music with. For most of these releases, how much more must it do than what it hints at on the tin to be an effective music tool? Reall...

I just did a conversion of euros to us and it came out to 2 grand USD.
I hope I did that wrong.

How did the price jump $500 bucks between videos or did I miss something?

Small Firms Are Making Big Bucks In The Analog Economy

Re: How would you solve this?

I think the hotel option is best and be sure to tip the guy who is going to be responsible before the package arrives.
Plus you can use both the packages tracking and a call from the hotel the moment it arrives to stay in top of it.

Hmmmm the Tempest is extremely far right and the only controls above it are ones you wouldn't tweak.

Re: New Elektron Machine

if the pads were on the right the knobs would have to be on the left and then your arm would be in the way of the screen when you were tweaking the knobs. Or they could have done what everyone else does and place the LCD screen ON TOP of (almost) all the controls and it wouldn't matter either way. ...

Re: New Elektron Machine

I didnt know the pads and sampling were mutually exclusive with the device Actually the joke is on you since that's exactly what Elektron has done. And even though that's NOT what I meant, I'll go on anyway. Octatrack = SAMPLER and look....NO PADS.... Analog rhythm = has pads, doesn't sample...... ...
