Re: Why is nobody talking about the M-audio venom yet?

I like it. It'd be a good harsh addition to a normal Digital, Analog, and Sampler setup

+1 for Mark Mothersbaugh endorsement

I can't seem to find a straight answer, but does the Mopho Keys have pots or encoders?

Stab Frenzy wrote:The Evolver already has a sequencer, and it's easier to use than the one in the Micron.

Re: Making Evolver Sound Analog

From my listening/testing standpoint, the closest you'll get to a Pro-One is the Future Retro 777. Have you considered the Mopho Keyboard instead? I have no experience with it, but I'm sure someone could chime in on it.

I'd really like to see the early Korgs in VST form. The Minikorg 700, Maxikorg, and Synthe-bass.

Re: Is it worth buying the Micron as a drum machine?

I've used the drum sequencer on the Micron quite a bit. It's pretty simple, and you can make your own sounds. It has loop record like a drum machine. I wouldn't get it JUST for that though.

Someone mentioned on the HC forum that Kronos does, in fact, use the same font as the Monotron.

Re: Alesis Ion: my thoughts

Well, your sentiments are about the same as mine. I have owned the Ion, and still have a Micron (it actually has effects). I basically imagine it as a modular synth. It can do pretty much everything, but its default setup is pretty bad and it takes a long time to get what you're thinking. What I did...

Is the filter EG slaved to the Amp EG? I'm seeing severe limitations there. Otherwise, solid, and ripping name
