That looks extremely easy to make. Wonder where you can buy the end connector?

Re: Korg Might Be Up To Something.
They already have the minikorg filter in the Volca keys, so that could be another option. The PS synths used that filter too.

Re: Yamaha Reface
If the Blofeld had mini-keys, people would still eat it up. It's just that the mini-keys and limited engine are a cheap combo.
Minikeys didn't hurt the Cz101. Some people can rip it up on those synths.

Re: BEGINNER SYNTH ADVICE
Are you looking for something to play presets on, or something to make sounds with on the fly? The necessity of drums onboard sort of limits your options by a lot. They don't make many good synths with onboard drum sequencers too.

Re: Yamaha Reface
Cool! Thanks. He presented that really well. He didn't mention the much more flexible modulation on the new one. Running pitch to only one operator is really great for slow evolving sounds. The touch buttons seem sort of annoying. Perhaps they are still calibrating those. I wouldn't want to swipe 4-...

I'm trying to grasp what exactly negative feedback sounds like. ???madtheory wrote:The continuous sweep from positive to negative FB is a great effect.

Re: State-variable filters: what are they?
If so, is there such a thing (in traditional subtractive synthesis) as a non-resonant filter? Regarding "Self-Oscillation" The entire Yamaha CS range could not self-oscillate. Also the early Korg's (Minikorg, 800dv). It was generally done to keep the range of sounds more musically usable. Especiall...

Re: Yamaha Reface
The CS: It's pretty clever to see the FEG, and AEG combined into a mixer slider. I don't think I've ever seen that on fixed architecture. It's competing with the Gaia seems like. Patch memory was just a budget cut or something. That doesn't make sense. Stop tethering things to phones. DX: Feedback o...

Re: Converter for usb only devices to pure MIDI (5pin) in/ou
If you're savvy with electronics, a simple arduino chip and $5 in parts can do what you want. Just search and find the numerous projects of people doing the same thing.
