Re: Hardware Sampler Question (Mostly just "why")

Only way to do that is to make a sample for each key. These things didn't do time stretch.

Re: Synth Fighters - Street Fighter compilation album

Thanks! The project actually got me to hook up the SNES again and play it a while. I still suck! Although, Blanka is awesome (which is why I put him on the poster above)

Re: Synth Fighters - Street Fighter compilation album

I really wanted to do Cammy's theme, but was late on the call. Ended up with Zangief, which I did the best I could on, but clearly the original song is not a favorite haha. I had fun with it regardless.

Synth Fighters - Street Fighter compilation album

For those of you into retro games, and retrowave music, there's a new comp that just came out!

One of my tracks is featured "Variar - Zangief"

Take a listen and buy the album, for name your price!

Thanks Bodo! I appreciate it very much! The car is my favorite place to check out music as well! :)

Re: Korg Poly 61 Problems

Filter is calibrated wrong on voice 6. Or could be a worse problem. At least it's narrowed down to one area.

Re: I built a Sampler!

I've always wanted to build a hardware sampler of my own with lots of knobs! Great work! You could put that in a eurorack format and sell them I bet.

Re: Hardware Sampler Question (Mostly just "why")

Just in the compatibility factor. I actually didn't realize that yours already has one. It's definitely a big plus, and makes the sampler even more useful. (I've been a long time fan of the Eps16)

Re: Hardware Sampler Question (Mostly just "why")

I don't know if the floppy drive is the problem, since it seems to be reading the boot disc just fine and it sounds like it should. But at the same time, I'm gonna feel like the world's biggest idiot if I buy some DSDD floppies of ebay for $20 a pack (they ain't going cheap these days) and they don...

Re: Hardware Sampler Question (Mostly just "why")

Most of mine are DSDD, and 3m. The few HD disks I have still work though. You're floppy drive might be on it's way out. Hard to say.

Re: Hardware Sampler Question (Mostly just "why")

I'm speaking from my experience with the Eps16+, but I've only had a few issues using regular 1.44 floppies. It's true that they do occasionally become corrupt for no reason, but I've owned the sampler for about 7 years and have had around 3 floppies die. As far as scsi, I just installed the clone f...
