Re: Buying under-priced vintage synths

Re: Poly 61 problem
Sam, so you're suggesting spraying the CPU with the freeze spray? Would it then allow the synth to function longer before the overheat, and help narrow it down to whichever component you spray? Just curious. I've never used that before.

You're pressing a single key and having up to 3 diodes light? Something's wrong with the voice allocation then.

Re: MusicRadar 10 Greatest Synths all time....
Perhaps it's a rehash, but the article date says May 12th 2015. These days website publishers have finally figured out people hate click-through slideshows and offer an all-in-one view. Back when this article was published, though.... Really? Seems like every facking click bait website is a slideshow.

Big PG fan. My wife and I have seen every tour except the last two. The first tour in support of his first solo album following his departure from Genesis was not received well. We had tickets to see him at the Masonic Auditorium( in DetroitI picked out our seating in the balcony in the same area I...

Re: Variar - Shockwaves (Debut Album)
Hey Clubbed! Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'm glad you pointed that out about the compression. I'm still running into issues with this, and often struggle to get the song to the right levels without it. I was using multi-band compression on each track. This may or may not be against the ...

But why would he not be able to edit the existing patches octaves if that was the issue? You never know with these things though. Worth a shot.

Re: Variar - Shockwaves (Debut Album)
Awesome thank you! I've always liked TD alot, and try to bring in elements of that stuff. I think in total everything took about 6 months. It could've gone faster, but I kept wanting to redo certain tracks! The track Toxic Roulette was a borderline industrial track if you can believe it. I ended up ...

Re: Korg Poly 61 not working after replacing battery help!
Honestly sounds like a cable is not connected all the way after you worked on it. If each voice is doing this, I don't think it's an actual voice issue. Are you able to change pitches with the bender, or the arpeggiator set to 2 octave?

When it's open, and you play notes. Does each voice card's LED light?
