Korg Wavestation filter resonance - video demo
i thought some of you past, present or future wavestation-owners, wavestation-fans or even wavestation-haters might find my latest youtube video interesting as it shows the wavestation can kinda sound like an analog synth at times, with an actual resonant filter, courtesy of the internal effects sec...

Re: Seeking Wisdom from Older Synth Masters!
Hi. I don't know what Korg Polysix synths usually cost over there, but if you can find one that doesnt have battery leakage, thats what Id recommend. it wont sound like a fender rhodes EP, but its great for 80s music as well as ambient/chill out stuff and, if you ask me, its a real good value. mini

some battery terminals are longer than others. make sure the batteries are actually making contact. if not, you may have to remove and bend the metal contact point.

Re: Tantalum Caps in ARPs - You Have Been Warned!!
Me too. I have a couple of rough Omni II's that I am not going to bother to get going, but if I found an Omni II in great cosmetic nick I would fully restore it to keep, a lovely instrument. Don't really like doing Omni restorations for customers though, a lot of work for no profit really, I only d...

the battery acid could have spread during the time he had it, causing this additional problem. youve really gotta do a thorough job when you repair these.
