i would have the tech perform the "no smoking" mod ;) good luck, let us know what happens. i dont think it will be that bad, 2 voices arent that complicated.

im really starting to think that people who say the andromeda tuning is fine just arent listening to it with a critical ear. set 2 oscillators to the same exact pitch (eg 440.00) and play high pitches. dont you hear very different beat frequencies between the different voices? every time ive played ...

the ones ive tried were all pre 2006 and they had what i would consider to be poor tuning on any vintage synth.

ive played several older andromedas and all of them had poor tuning. perhaps the tuning options werent set up correctly, but im not sure. the bottom line is this.... the obxa's (and most other vintage analogs) weve serviced had much better tuning post calibration than the andromedas ive played, and ...

me again....
someone told me that sounddiver and logic 8 wont run on a new mac pro at the same time since sounddiver needs to run in rosetta. is this true?? can logic 8 not run in rosetta? am i missing something?
