hmmm. well, Mad Bad and Dangerous to Know has some great moments on it, IMO. dead or alive do have their annoying moments, but, uh, so does the cure and oingo boingo! (no offense to any fans or band members reading this!).

a few things i thought some people here might find interesting... we have a roland tr-808 which was modified for midi by studio electronics. the midi retrofit circuit board indicates it was made by groove (im assuming this is groove electronics from the UK). the main board actually says Juno60 MIDI ...

all came with "pips".
the knobs on the late model axxes with the orange lettering and ppc become brittle and crack off over time.

its generally best to open the pot, clean it out and put it back together. some sprays are known to ruin pots. synth tech kevin lightner has stated that he has seen caig products destroy pots over many years, but many techs use this stuff all day long. i once spoke with caig about this and if i reca...

sounds like a jack needs replacement. 2600 jacks can be pretty touchy.

thats great, im looking forward to seeing the dvd. ive seen 1 or 2 jarre concerts and it seemed like everything was prerecorded. so it will be very nice to see it all pulled off live!

im not a tech... but i do know that the tantalum caps in the arp omni are notorious for failing and you need to replace a large number of them if you want a reliable instrument.
