Re: radiohead-what is that?

Perhaps in America...In Europe, you must be a very lucky man to find a Rhodes in good shape for a price under 2000$

The prices are totally crazy here. #-o

Re: radiohead-what is that?

When is the new Rhodes coming out or did I miss the release? They said once (musikmesse 2008 in Frankfurt) november - december 2008 in the USA, and january - february for Europe and the rest of the world. But the last update and message from the CEO of Rhodes Piano is from january 08. Since then, n...

Re: Why do presets universally suck?

I'm using presets...not only factory presets, but also presets that i programmed by myself. I would'n say that the presets universally suck. On my Moog Prodigy, i don't have presets, but it's so easy to use, even in live situation that i don't need any memory or preset. In the opposite, on the CS-15...

Re: Looking for a decent low-end analogue console

If you can find a Soundcraft 200B (available in 16, 24 and 32 channels) it's also a very good console. Great sounding EQ, preamp with a lot of headroom, etc...and quite cheap nowadays. The console is heavy in 32 channel configuration, but the warmth and dynamic provided by this desk will let you for...

Re: Warm/cold subjectivity

Boaaaah... like you said, it's all subjective. Personnal. For the one, a Roland Juno 106 will be warm sounding, for another one, it will be cold sounding. Mostly, i'm talking about "warm sounding" when the general character of the sound is more soft and not agressive at all, but also full sounding, ...

Very cool...really. So the first sound bit (with the Nord Modular G2 ARP Solina emulation) is with or without Elkorus ? Or is it ONLY the Nord Modular, solina emulation chorus programmed on the Nord Modular too ? Cause it's sound allmost dead on like a solina chorus... mmmhhh. i'm very interested if...

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/707/spookrig02jpgub2.jpg I would also never give mine...i know Minimoog has much more possibilities, the Prodigy is very very limited, but sometimes, less is more. Perfect for live playing. You have a strong bass, you can change the sound in 2 seconds from a bass ...

Re: Wowzers! The Lexicon PCM 96!!

This sounds great. Have a listen to the sample done by Hexfix93!! http://www.velvetacidchrist.com/vacpodcast3.mp3 Makes my equipment look like trash. But oh well.... Take a Lexicon MX300...you will not be so far away from what you can here in the upper demo ! P.S I would prefer a dry sound from a s...

I also listened to some tracks. My favourite is by far Tamerkoski...I'm loving the sweet sound of the JD-800 !

Sounds a little bit more 90's than Meadow in the Morning. The JP-6 is really 80's sound at it's best

It's allways easy to give a statement about a board that nobody played at this day.

I prefer to wait a while...

And for the moment, i'm very very happy with my Nord Stage Compact. So easy to use in a gig situation !

A little track i made last month (nothing serious...), more in the same musical direction like Moog Cook Book (but my version is a real pale copy of this super group) http://www.files-save.com/download-140e7f8f660d4ad53cc3fcedc7cabf4e.html It should be stereo...
