I don't have exactly a Dimension D...but as a Roland Paraphonic RS-505 owner, it seems that the chorus board inside this oldschool stringer is the same than the Dimension D, but with only 3 positions instead of the 4 on the Dimension D. And as you have a Input socket on the RS-505, you can hook up e...

Clavia Nord Stage with a BIG memory update (not only 128 MB - but 32 GB - it's cheap enough today...) and real drawbars instead of these small + and - buttons.

And i would be happy !

And Dave Smith could build an analog sequencer, with midi and CV controls...

http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/9161/prodigycasedl9.jpg Very important. When you are using your boards only in your home studio, it's not so important. But when touring a lot, or playing gigs a little bit everywhere, it's vital for your synths to have a good flightcase. I have flightcases for my...

WOW ! Really cool...amazing drum sound (only with one mic ? Then, i suppose you have a good drum set !). And the MS-20 fits perfectly to the style. Some people have sometimes negative opinion about MS-20 bass sound (not so fast envelopes, etc...). I find the bass sound very convincing and fat soundi...

My Fender Rhodes Mk1 (1975) that i bought for 80$ there is 15 years ago. And for synths, errrr....never such a good price. It was correct, but not extraordinary. For example my Yamaha TG-77 (rack version of SY-77) that i bought 150$ last summer.

Besides the EMS VCS3 he was also very into the Eminent 310U organ/strings which can be heard on many of his scores. I wonder how much influence, if any, his use of Eminent organ had on Jarre. Either way, Roubaix's music is very distinct and much more adventurous than anything JMJ ever produced. He ...

A very old classical thread...Juno vs. P6... Ok, the Polysix have this Battery Leakage problem...and it's really important to chech this point before you buy one. But we can say the same thing about the Juno 106. The problem there, are the the VCA/VCF chips, the famous 80017A that have a tendance to...

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the music of François de Roubaix. French composer that died in 1975. he worked with José Giovanni, Robert Enrico, etc... He was one of the first french people to use the synthesizers for score music. And most of all, his music is very emotional and nostalgic. For examp...

The TG-77 is allmost the only non-analog synth i have( beside my Nord Stage)...I could find one for 150 $ and i would never sell it ! Simply beacause it rocks... I'm using it for pads, atmospheric textures, leads, FX, etc... The sound character is unique, surely not everyones taste, a little bit a D...

Great sound...i'm loving these CS-60 and CS-80 sonic atmosphere.

CS-80 is too rare and heavy for me. If one day i can find a CS-60 in my country, i will possibly buy one. Really an amazing machine.

The only thing i will never understand (despite the quality of the instrument) is the name ! Why JUNO d... ? For me the Juno line stopped in the 80's. The Juno G has some optical similarities (but only colours...) with the original one, but the Juno D...nix nax nox. I had a Juno G a few years...
