I'm a bit surprised no one has made a simple, cheap midi controller like the monome. If mass-produced I think the monome could be much cheaper and imagine if there were a mass produced plastic version, it could/should be dirt cheap. I worry for the makers of monome that this will happen before too ...

tyrannosaurus mark wrote:This track "I wish I could keep you" uses only a Moog LP for those synths sounds. It also uses an MPC1000 for drums (which is only a kick and a snare).

It's the first song on this page: www.myspace.com/lotsoflittlepictures

I've been curious about the ATC myself. The idea of a stand-alone modern analog synth with memory and changeable filters that are meant to clone great synths of the past is an exciting concept on paper. I think it might be nice to have the 303, 2600 and SEM filters to compliment my little phatty. Pr...

Moog Little Phatty editor - librarian

When i go to load LP patches I've saved into the various banks (percussion, bass etc.) on my computer. They wont load in the program, it effectively does nothing but the files are saved. I've emailed the software help but have had no response so far.

I liked the ER-1. People like to complain about its plastic/digital sounds but I think that's what is great about it. I'm just not crazy about step-sequencing drums and prefer the MPC route. I kinda miss the recording delay movement FX. I have some er-1 samples on my MPC right now actually... I stil...

Not hardware, but I got some really cool vocal effects using Melodyne for our last 7". We had about 4 tracks of the vocal already and I took one and pitch shifted it up a fifth and an octave, and maybe down an octave too, using Melodyne, then mixed them in nice and low underneath the others so they...

Great little piece! It's not quite as good as the Source... but sure as h**l replaces the Prodigy and Rogue. Some prefer it to the Voyager .. I can see that. Why do you say its not as good as a source? I'm guessing he prefers the sound of the source and the arp? Aside from the arp. the LP has bette...

If I could keep only 1 synth of all that I have owned it would be the LP. It's great, go for it.
