I would suggest either not owning vitnage or realizing you might need to put some money or labor into maintaining them...

When i go to load LP patches I've saved into the various banks (percussion, bass etc.) on my computer. They wont load in the program, it effectively does nothing but the files are saved. I've emailed the software help but have had no response so far.

I liked the ER-1. People like to complain about its plastic/digital sounds but I think that's what is great about it. I'm just not crazy about step-sequencing drums and prefer the MPC route. If I could keep only 1 synth of all that I have owned it would be the LP. It's great, go for it.
