if you have a MIDI -> CV converter you can play it (but those things cost nearly as much as the MC-202 itself, but you can use it on other stuff in the future ;)) anyways, I've read that the arpeggiator on the SH-101 is more fun and the fact that it has keys is even better! but the MC-202 sure looks...

why does it have to be a 101+303? why can't it just be itself? the Roland MC-202 in all it's glory? :P Seriously though it looks cooler than it is, I had it for a while (mint + MIDI->DIN converter) and it was very simple (simple is good though) but it just looks super-cool  maybe I was too thr...

Thanks aeon, I'll check it out. It's just gonna be a little awkward to have an OS9 machine. I can't get Infinity to work in classic. To the rest of you- this is what Infinity does: " Imagine taking a raw sample, and then, with just a few mouse clicks, creating a loop so perfect that you can't tell ...

aah, ok  hehe Cacophony is pretty good, it has a loop function, I think.. :-k (at least it shows loop points) Audacity is good too.. It probably has loop, again, probably :-k I don't use them a lot, I use Quicktime, believe it or not! :P (Pro version obviously, which has better stuff, and it do...

The Alesis Ineko has a decimator too.. The Elektron Machinedrum & Monomachine both have inputs and both have SRR (Sample Rate Reduction) the UW (if you sample the inputs) has BRR (Bit Rate Reduction) for the samples. The MPC 2000XL also has a bitcrusher, IIRC.. I don't know what a Decimator is, but ...

http://www.futurlec.com/PotSliding.shtml Take your pick. There are probably components that need to be torn out also since the hi/low switch will be switching between two resistors which need to go otherwise the pot will only go between the high and low settings, not the full range. Someone have sc...

alright boys+girls, got some more info on it, but it looks like it's doomed to get the right slider :( I talked to a few guys, one replied: Replacement sliders are impossible to source. You may need to replace busted sliders with pots (find ones with long screw shafts). I've already got the full ser...
