"(insert hardware synth here) is so much better than (insert software synth here). There's just no comparison to the sound of a REAL synth"... I especially love that one when they're talking about a digital hardware synth. "Software just sounds so bad/thin/gross/digital. It will be another 10 years...

Dear god I hate algorithmic composition, it's most often a sure passport to generic IDM. Why not just download dblue's glitch plugin whilst you're at it? Regardless of HrBak's views, learning how to copy other musician's work is often the best way to learn a technique, since you can get an understan...

After all, in 2008 we celebrate being in business for ten years. Stay tuned!" and "X-MAS BONUS 1 !!! We have discovered a limited amount of unit...

Bleeding is when you have 2 channels running and you can hear one channel in the other one. From the sound of it, it's quite likely either the cable you're using, or the Behringer (which isn't unlikely). Check the cable, and try other channels on your mixer, but if it's the mixer, you'll need to mak...

Yeah, the layout is exactly that of the filter, with some digital stuff thrown in. He's done something to the envelope follower too, and I see the happy word 'LFO' on there too. Compare the above link with this http://www.bigcitymusic.com/i/cat/New/1000573_L.jpg Basically the filter stuff is the 8 k...

Zvex/Devi Ever/Metasonix - Distortion/Destruction
I think I may be wanting something that can bend a sound until it breaks. Think the sort of effect that has sweet spots where it's not total distorted noise, but sometimes it just breaks down. I have narrowed this down to three potential candidates, which are all I think in this category, although t...
