I know you can't judge something by its demos Exactly. I'd never bought into the whole analogue drum machine thing, but I picked up an Airbase on the cheap. I think the best way to explain stuff is that I since got me an MD-UW, and I've no intention of selling the Airbase, because it does stuff the...

Also coming from Jomox: T-Resonator
This looks pretty neat

I imagine that this isn't going to be as straight-forward as just a delay at the end of the filter path. There's probably going to be some interesting signal routing...

very interesting. do you think that the m-res and the filter that is in the 999 are the same? i guess that was my issue with the 999, you know, i like to pair up different drum machines with different filters. still, just thinking 888 makes me want something else with the bass kick. not a striped d...

I was just making a joke, its not dead to me at all but this Broseph ain't holding his breath. They never said it would happen fo sho... right? Could be forever, I just bought a xbase09 today but will probably ditch it and get the 999 when I can afford it, or maybe an 888. I think the Boom Chick an...

The first one is clean then wide open, then overdriven
The second one is subtle to noisy
The third one is subtle to noisy, but with melodic stuff

Wiss - The 888 doesn't have the multimode filter across the outputs and is consequently a bit cheaper. It's in the first or second post in this thread. Nada - why would you want to hear about how Dave and Roger are getting on with debugging code and ordering parts every few months? If it's not at th...

I was really amazed at how actually musically useful (i.e., not 80s) the toms on the Airbase are. One thing that machine has done for me was to get me using toms and cymbals a lot more (and now that I have the UW, anything goes). So if the 888 is listed at 1100 euros...that's going to put it in the ...

Available in 2008! I guess people were telling Jurgen they didn't use the X-Filter ...or perhaps he's worried because he'll have some pretty serious competition in the form of the Boomchik. The description does seem to say it has the same sequencer - the wording is the same as for the 999 I guess he...
