Whoa! Those are some serious demos! Your telling me that the Proteus is capable of s**t like this because that's what I'm looking for. Remember that the Proteus doesn't have as many filter types, but it's the same idea. Here's a little something else that 23 was doing with his Proteus 2500 http://w...

Do a search in the forum for "Timbral Sequencing"; it's a use of the P2500 that I came up with and I do believe I posted some demos of what it can result in. What kind of computer are you using?
Are you running anything besides protools at the same time?
What are your level meters telling you?

I would second (third?) the suggestion of the Emu Proteus, they're deep as all get-out, and the Emu sound, particularly the filters is really nice. Check out Sealed's demos of the Morpheus for a taste of what the Z-Plane filters can do, and have a search for timbral sequencing. And, because I can't ...

Yes, with (Waldorf) wavetable synthesis, at the least, the two initial parts of the table were held in ROM (start and end of table respectively). There could be more parts, but always at least two. As I noted the rest of the table was filled via an FFT method.. I could swear that it was linear inte...
