it should just be a case of setting up a midi machine in the MD to send a note at the beginning of the pattern... make sure its on the right channel of course That is what I thought as well, but I couldn't get it to trigger...it wasn't a clock or midi channel issue, since I used the same midi machi...

DSI Evolver or MoPho

I gave up. I just used the MD's sequencer to sequence the MoPho patch... same results.

Could this be as simple as a prophet 8 in a mopho box? Meaning no sub osc, etc.

Yeah, it isn't a clock issue or anything like that. Since the sequencer in the MoPho manual is "gated" you need to hold down a note to play it. What I'm trying to do is use a midi machine on the MD to trigger to gated part of the mopho. With a midi keyboard, you simply hold down a key and it plays t...

Hope someone can help. I'm not used to "gated" sequencers and cannot figure how to sync my MoPho's internal sequencer to my MD. I thought I'd have to at least trigger the MoPho with a note on the MD, but I can't seem to get it to work right. Anyone here use this set-up?

It probably isn't hard for them to make this from the existing MoPho design.

Really, 4 outputs, that does sound promissing if true. Not a big fan of this USB thing though. What's wrong with good old 5 pin DIN eh? ;) The software editor is supposedly going to be able to be used as a plugin soon for the MoPho and Evolver...so, maybe for this one as well. USB works for that no...
