I'm starting to find out that I like the ease of use of digital better... like my two favorite machines, the Korg EMX-1 and the Elektron Monomachine. It's just nice to have dead simple sequencers with a bunch of synthesis options in one box. That said, I may run these machine through some analog eff...

not yet, I thought it was a cheap constructed machine would you suggest it? How much money should I pay for that? You think the MPC500 is cheaply constructed? No, it's not. It is a solid piece of gear. I would suggest it, but beware...it requires a little more menu diving than other MPCs. Ultimatel...

Anybody digging his new one? Yeah, I like the new Dntel alot. Over a handful of truely great songs... good, noisy production...but laid back. Every song has a different singer. Does every song have a singer?? Bright Eyes drives me crazy (in a bad way), and I know he is on there. I generally liked t...

Others here don't agree with me that the drum sounds on the EMX-1 are useless... but maybe that's because my biggest influence is hip-hop and the drums just don't cut...even after using three effects. I would be one of those to disagree with you about this. And I listen to hip hop more than any oth...
