Re: Yamaha FS1R battery?
Easy. Flip over, take out the screws, remove the rear panel and take off the PCB (if it doesn't have a battery holder). You can't go wrong.

Re: pc based oscilloscope ?
Why didn't you say so in the first post that you need one working for the soundcard? Can't know. There are models that work with serial port and other with USB. Be specific.
From old bookmarks: http://www.oscilloscope-lib.com (freeware but don't remember if for soundcard)
I continue checking

Not that I don't want to help you out but it I do the complete troubleshooting, this is work. And as a small business, I cannot troubleshoot everybody's instrument for free. Especially working without any schematics nor any references. That's why in here I give general pointers for the person to che...

Re: Roland HP-860 electronic piano has a BUZZ!
The guy only ships to USA... maybe you can change his mind. I'm willing to share the bill for clean, readable copies. It doesn't mention my model. But thanks for finding it anyway! Odd... last night, in the description of the auction, there was a HP-860 service manual in the lot... Am I going insan...

If you do, I'd be interested in buying a pdf version of it from you, if you would be interested. I've heard of an elusive service manual for it but ave ...

Hi Joshua
I've placed a request to one of my suppliers for the service manual. Usually, I should hear from him in 2 days max.
