Re: Are the old Electribes getting more expensive/respected?
The prices on all lower priced gear has gone up. Resellers are buying up all the good deals and relisting at huge mark ups. Plus, Ebays fees are so high sellers need to raise their price way up just to make a buck.

Re: Using Paypal on the forum
I don't know all the details of your case in particular but PayPal sides with the buyer 99% of the time. They don't deny it either. They say being scammed is just part of the cost of doing business. Pictures really don't indicate anything beyond cosmetics. Stating No Refunds also carries no weight. ...

Re: Using Paypal on the forum
If seller does their s**t proper and has a tracking number and sends the item as described then buyer can't scam. The seller can do everything right as you said, and the buyer could claim the item is not as described, PayPal rules in buyers favor, buyer sends back a different item or no item at all...

If I recall correctly, every Novation synth I've owned has done this when I stop the controlling sequencer.

Re: Using Paypal on the forum
Don't be under the illusion that paypal will look after you if you get shafted. I lost £500 in an ebay transaction 2 years ago. When paypal had finally completed their inefficient and laborious investigation, all they recovered was what was left in his account (£70) as he’d spent most of it while t...

Probably flopped due to being ridiculously overpriced. It makes more sense to buy an Andromeda for a lot less which is 100% analog instead of a VA with analog filters.

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
The big Kaosscilator looks rad, midi sync and more customisable options so you can use it less as a preset box and actually do original stuff with it. Hmm. I'm very happy that Korg continue to develop the Kaossilator, but it seems there's no real editing possible for the patches. And that sort of b...

Re: Boss VT-1/Other vocal processors, bitcrushers, & waveshapers
Hey guys, Vocals I know the knife uses the boss vt1, and in the few demos I've found it sounds pretty good, so has anyone owned this? Are there any other pedals that do the same thing for cheaper? I don't need anything totally alias free, so thats not an issue for me. The Roland EF-303 has a VT-1 s...

Re: Roland MC-303 vs Korg Electribe ?
EA The EA1 gives you 2 monophonic synth parts but can't really do drums so if you need drums and synth sounds the MC303 is probably the way to go. The Electribes are much easier to use though. The Electribe EM1 can do drums and has 2 synth parts like the EA1 but it's a bit more expensive, usually a...
