I realize that they can be made pretty easily, but I'm one of those who doesn't have access to a shop. I was just hoping I could pick up a set for around $20 or less from a place that sells rack accessories. I don't even need them yet, but I'm looking into P2Ks and many don't come with the rack ears.

Definitly go for the ms. I have it and it beats the micro like 100% - only the stepseq (not to mention all those knobs for every parameter wich makes it a very intuitive instrument)is a feature that makes it 1000 times better than the mikro.You can make basslines,drumbeats,neverending ppg like pads...

Where can I get rack ears for the E-MU Proteus 2000 style modules? Are these standard or E-MU specific?

Are the drum samples in the Proteus 2000 Composer ROM the same quality as the ones in the Pro-cussion?
