I realize that they can be made pretty easily, but I'm one of those who doesn't have access to a shop. I was just hoping I could pick up a set for around $20 or less from a place that sells rack accessories. I don't even need them yet, but I'm looking into P2Ks and many don't come with the rack ears.

Is there any difference between the MS2000, the MS2000R, the MS2000B, and the MS2000BR? i'm guessing the B in the MS2000B models stand for "black", since those models have a black finish. Definitly go for the ms. I have it and it beats the micro like 100% - only the stepseq (not to mention all those knobs for every parameter wich makes it a very intuitive instrument)is a feature that makes it 1000 times better than the mikro.You can make basslines,drumbeats,neverending ppg like pads...
