Damn, that does suck. I first put myself on the list in February of '07, but somehow my turn never came up that time. So I put myself back on the list this past October, guess I'm out of luck again. I'm not even super into the 303 thing, the x0x was just one of the only DIY synths out there that cam...

Inspector looks cool (I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to have an EQ and the analyzer open at once and just jump back and forth between the windows, to get an idea of how one is effecting the other), and you can't beat free.

Thanks!

For the bargain crowd: The Korg EA-1 makes a much better FX box than it does synth imho. +1. The ES-1 works well for this too. My Minimax is the only other synth I've run stuff through, sounds pretty nice. I really wish the Prophet 600 had audio inputs to the filter. I wonder if there's a way to mo...

You should really look into getting a daw trond...it'll open up more possibilities for you. you may be right there, I've been too interrested in buying instruments and effects rather than stuff I actually need. Buying a mixer last fall opened up a lot of options, so I guess a soundcard/DAW solution...

Yeah, I've read a couple of things saying the Behringer Chorus Space-C is real analog. Anybody here used one of these?

Currently looks like late May for shipments. At today's rates, the MSRP of 580 euros is only about $700 !!! Might be another modular in my future after all. 580 Euros equals $900 As our currency continues its slide into the toilet. Remember when Euros first came out and it was a 1-to-1 exch...

I don't believe the P-600 has a Bulk Dump option (I'd love for another P-600 user to correct me on this, and tell me how it's done). One of the minuses of its being the very first synth with MIDI, it didn't have all the features people have since come to take for granted.

i LOVE custom synth's work, that rogue looks stunning, although i'd prefer it in pink...lol x

A pink synth would go nicely with this guitar I just picked up a few weeks ago. Can't get enough pink, and it sounds good too.

The graphics on it remind me of a zoomed-in version of those giant photos of sweating soda cans that they have on Pepsi machines. Yuck!

Perhaps you tilt your head naturally when listening or need to reposition your monitors. Sitting between your monitors, right and left panning should sound just right and left assuming you are not using spacial effects. Nope, it happens when I'm listening on headphones as well. I think it's just my...

I tend to perceive things in the left channel as being slightly more behind me while things in the right channel seem a little more like they're in front of me. I'm sure this influences where I tend to put different tracks in a mix. Does anyone else experience this phenomenon of L and R somehow corr...

EQ with spectral analyzer?

I'm pretty new to recording and such, so I'm thinking it might be good to have an EQ that gives me some visual, as well as audio, feedback. Specifically something that gives me a visual representation of what frequencies are in a track, so I can see, as well as hear, the changes that are happening a...

I must just be my soundcard on my laptop. I can't get it work with my desktop that has a M-Audio Ozonic. ? weird. Yeah, being able to record sound as you're playing it on your computer (I think that's what we're talking about here, right?) is more likely dependent on your soundcard and the way it's...

Quite, but don't knock it! Wouldn't dream of it. Useless discussion has been the bread and butter of this forum (and all other forums for that matter) for years. This was the very point I was trying to make, perhaps not very well. Anyway... nearly any Wendy Carlos or especially Mort Garson will do....
