Note that the j-60's DCB interface can be outfitted with a midi interface for about $60. Unless you are a huge midi nut, I would suggest the J-6. The extra HPF control would be nice and the Juno synths are so easy to program that the patch memory is totally useless. I've almost totally stopped using...

This is kind of not along the line of whats been suggested, but I love using my Zoom G7. It just makes my synths scream. its a lot of fun. unpredictable at times, since its obviously designed for use with guitars, and not complex and dynamic synth signals, but thats why its awesome. I was going to ...

I've had two in my life and quite like them. It's not super-realistic sounding, and its not an 808 or 909 by ANY stretch of the imagination. But it's cheap, easy to use and sounds surprisingly good IMO. On the bad side - it will never make anyone think you have a real drummer on stage. On the good ...

Tyler 2000 is trustworthy and keeps you up to date. While it took a bit longer for me to get the package than he originally planned, he made up for it by drawing some interesting pictures on the priority mail box (even a nifty robot). Despite this Tyler2000 is still an apt shipper, whom I would bot...

Thanks for the comments guys. I shall let you all know the progress of this beauty. I'm hoping to get it finished and cased soon. Old school auto rhythms?
I just picked up a Sears Rhythm master online. I've been meaning to start picking cheap auto-rhythmers for a while. This will be my first stand-alone one. I've got one in my organ and in my mixer. i was just wondering if anybody else likes these sort of boxes. Why or why not? They seem like a great ...
