Maybe I'll just sell the ER and and get the EM. I'd only be down about $20. The thing about the ER-1 is that I'm really unsatisfied with it's sounds. They just lack punch. The synthesis of it is cute, but pretty limited. The main reason I like it is the x0x programming, which I wouldn't have to give...

How is this idea? (Electribes)
Here's what I'm thinking. I've got an ER-1 and and EA-1 that I paid $50 each for. If I decided to sell them and buy the EM-1 I would get a big profit, but what would I miss out on in functions? I can't find any in-depth descriptions of it's synth engine, but I assume it's just an EA-1. As for the dr...

Replacement key's can be found here. http://www.imt.net/~sounddoctorin/synthtec/parts/key.htm#keysforsale Heh. I found that site but didn't scroll down to where they can be bought. If I spent $40 on the synth and $32 on the keys that would be way too much, I suppose. Anybody have a broken one for s...

CZ-1000 keys
If I had the opportunity to get a CZ-1000 with messed up keys for cheap, how hard would it be to fix? I've opened up a number of casio keyboards, but mostly just toys. After a certain point it seems casio started using method where keys were divided up my black and white and by octave. IE a whole oc...

If you downlaod the the newest OS (available on esq hacker), it will automatically reload the factory presets when the battery is dead. Thanks for the tip, I was aware of this possibility with the newer OS, however it is a matter of me sending my EPROM's out to somebody to get them burned. I would ...

If you downlaod the the newest OS (available on esq hacker), it will automatically reload the factory presets when the battery is dead. There are a few Ok pianos on there as well as the famous Mini M[oog] preset. I usually just save to the carts that came with mine, but yeah. What are you going to d...

The SP-202 is a worthless piece of garbage... hey know thats a little harsh, have you tried it on stage? it feeds back pretty wonderful w/ internal mic when you wave it in front of a cabinet. I do admit its not worth trying to use it as a drum machine but its great for the sound effect intro, voice...
