I used a program called vocalwriter on my track "Flock of Circuits" listen to it here: http://www.myspace.com/projectsensorium Its just like mac speech to text except you can enter MIDI note values and make it sing those notes. You enter the text for it to sing. It can be very interesting as you do...

sorry for the confusion, I meant play as in play my guitar, not play as in play back a recording... Anyway, I really like reason, I've been using it extensively with a friend of mine at his place... I might pick myself up a copy soon... I have one question though... My friend has it for windows... D...

Dr. Rex has been there since V1.0, failure to use it is not propellerheads problem I have yet to figure out how I can use a microphone and record into Dr. Rex... Either I'm just missing that feature or it isn't there... You cannot, it was never intended to be a recorder of any sort. it is a loop pl...

don't get me wrong, I like reason as it is... But I think if they allowed for very simple audio track recording it would make it useful for more genres... If only I could just play in a guitar track and a vocal track to go along with all of the electronics... I'm not trying to bash or offend anyone,...

Yeah, I've been listening to way too much Aphex and now I'm being slowly drawn to gassing for this beastie. There's a cool video on youtube of someone doing Boards of Canada covers with one. Bit of a departure from your usual AAAACIIIDD!!! sort of stuff. http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=ceePvCg-AT0 Th...

no dice on auger either with google or KVR. I've been told to stay far away from Arturia's prophet V, because the prophet VS filters are broken and sound like s**t... And I would anyway, because its dongled, which is a no go for me... I need any software I buy to work on a laptop for gigging without...

its a pretty good VA for its age. I'm not terribly impressed by the featureset... I'm sure the free EG would be a lot more impressive if I had access to the software editor... Which I don't, since I'm fairly sure a mac OSX version was never made. Overall I'd say its a pretty good synth for how much ...

I'm probably going to get bashed for this... But I think he should start making software again as well as hardware... Mostly, a software emulation of the prophet VS. Because arturia's is c**p. It's a decent prophet 5 inspired VA synth (though unfortunately dongled, which is a big "f**k you" to anyon...
