Maaaaan, I'll probably just pay the goddam 400 bucks for shipping. Then add the EU tax when it arrives. It'll be the most expensive AX-60 on the bloody continent. I was just being a silly monkey. It seems I'll be eating nothing but bananas until the end of the month. i agree with all of the above, ...

Im still using my old Brother PDC100, cheap box that sells for $20 bucks these days. ha... that sounds like a step up from the Seiko DS-1000 i have (believe it or not, at one point i owned two!) they have to be the cheapest, simplest sequencer out there. I kind of want to make mine into a belt buck...

has anyone else noticed some digital noise creeping in when the high pass filter is switched from 0 to like 2 or 3? The switch from 0 to "on" makes an audible click, and then there is very noticeable aliasing-like noise which is present until you get into the upper reaches of the filter... i hadn't...

mmm... then get a tr-626.. firsly they're cheap. secondly, it has the XoX programming style, just without the lights above each step (there are 16 pads which can be used exactly the same way as the 909/707)... and you get the bonus of a lcd grid. I did this back in the late 80's. I programmed a bas...

Hey Mixolydian, if you happen to see another one of those technics for cheap can you pick one up for me and bring it back with you when you move back to the states? I have been wanting to try one, but I can't justify paying $100 to ship a synth that is $100 or less itself. I would obviously hit you...

you mean using them as a midi controller/sequencer.. h**l yes they do.. if that's all you really want it for ... get the R5. It's smaller. yeah thats a great idea. so, if i were to proclaim my EMAX a "drum machine", what would u suggest as most cost effective DM to pair it with to run it exclusivel...

It'd be a very sad day if the likes of 'Disappointed, Berkshire' has put Dave (or anyone else in such a position) off from posting any future exclusive peeks on here. Well, know that you mention it, the BBC has already received a letter from "Disgruntled, Tunbridge Wells" complaining that it won't ...

I'll step forward and be the onlypro-pc person so far... Maybe it's how I learn, but I just really like having everything visually available to me on one screen. Play in a few notes, move them around, done. This is particularly important for me with sequencing audio parts. I just don't feel like I c...

well, if it is the same snare from Shout, then that would be the same John Bonham drum snare sample.. I guess there was a John Bonham eprom drum sample set?

"No investment for this kind of market, to small" And what are people asking on forums a little bit everywhere ? "Please, make some polyphonic analog stuff again." $40 seems like an ok price, tho I missed the chance to buy one off some guy on my street for $25  having said that, his was also very crackly and dirty, so it's really a question of "how bad do you want it"? maybe if you point out that it doesn't really work, they'll knock the price down a bit.
