Re: Tom Oberheim to show new synth on Wednesday?
I can't help but think how awesome this is going to be with a couple moogerfoogers, especially the filter and ring mod. I mean I would take a SEM with patch panel and handful of moogers over a voyager even, so long as the oscs sound huge and I'm sure they will. Just having a mooger filter will be so...

Re: Tom Oberheim to show new synth on Wednesday?
that is a good point, i wonder if it you could just use a splitter cable from the pro solo? maybe there are regular cv/gate inputs on the back... but there are no pictures of the back anywhere it really does sound good in the short demo, it's too bad tom isn't putting out some demos or letting someb...

Re: Tom Oberheim to show new synth on Wednesday?
I'm sure it's well calibrated upon purchase but at some point like any analog synth will need calibration after awhile, usually just tweaking trim pots I imagine.

Re: trading my ms-20 for access ti polar?
thanks guys, yes I reached the conclusion that the virus stuff is just going to plummet in price as soon as they keep releasing new synths that do things slightly better each time.
I think I'm just gonna wait until the Ti or snow gets cheap and buy one

Sounds lower tonally than it should, but in a good way
I think the clave is too piercing a lot of the time.

Re: Moog Micromoog vs Korg MS-10
that is interesting AG, I can tell the 2 oscs in the multi aren't driving the filter hard and it's too bad there isn't a level control. Now I'm itching to get a micromoog and see how different they sound. I don't think the multi sounds thin one bit compared to most synths and the filter is incredibl...

Re: Moog Micromoog vs Korg MS-10
Hey AG so I just got my multimoog back from my tech friend and I swear I think it sounds better than a minimoog. I had a minimoog for awhile then borrowed a nice one a few weeks ago and wasn't inspired by it. I swear there is something about the multi and micro that is more elastic/smooth sounding t...

Re: Moog Micromoog vs Korg MS-10
AG you need to stop the long ranting essay responses ok, because your music is pretty damn good. You should be focusing on your music more and putting out more actual music vids which are great and stop the synth demos and rambling because you can always do that when your an old crazy dude... hahaha...

Re: Moog Micromoog vs Korg MS-10
honestly it's a toss up and not an easy choice to make, the ms-10 filter is one of the best lowpass I've ever heard but then again so is the micromoog just different. After awhile though I lost interest in the ms series filters, even though I never thought i would, I don't want to have to use a diff...

Re: Tom Oberheim Interview - Need Your Help
I think the reason that everyone wants to know if there will be TV and FV keyboards is because it will determine whether some of us will buy the drop in modules or the stand alone ones. I would rather not buy a stand alone one if there indeed will be a TV or FV coming in the near future. I would pre...

Re: Moog Micromoog vs Korg MS-10
its black and white, both are absolutely great! ms-10 awesome filter and patching is so minimal it's almost silly to even have. micromoog awesome filter as well, real close to actual minimoog filter and guess what you can actually mod the filter with the oscillator which to me is a very important mo...

Re: Could someone do me a favor? (A6 related)
awe come on there are a lot more a6 videos than most analog synths and some are really good
the ring mod isn't that exciting on the A6, well it is I guess just doesn't sound like a dirty vintage ring mod.
