Re: Arturia Matrixbrute
I was expecting about $1500-2000. When you think about it, three minibrutes in a bigger box is about the same. I think you guys are surprised because you're expecting it to be priced like a Voyager, but comparing the price of this to the voyager and the price of a sub phatty to a Minibrute it makes ...

Re: Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synth
I have yet to hear this thing sound lush or warm on pads. To me any analog poly should be able to do lush/warm pads without external fx if you want it to. I love Korg I really do but something is off putting on this for me . Maybe its the resonance not the cutoff that seem very harsh or the filter ...

Re: Synth Buying Advice(Pure Sine Waves, Microtones)
If you want pure sines then digital is the way to go. In terms of the differences between digital and analogue sines, digital will be purer. The advantages of analogue are all pretty much disadvantages in your case. Personally I think for what you want software would be perfect, but you may prefer h...

Re: Any news on new products for 2016
Whoa, that Waldorf keyboard/skiff/MIDI-CV interface is a pretty cool idea. I wonder how much? I'm DIYing a 44 key, 2x 168hp one like that at the moment, it's a killer idea. I expect it's gonna sell really well and there will be bigger versions on the way. Euro is going through a stage of people try...

Re: Trying to get an audio interface
Define good, and define cheap. Also how many simultaneous inputs and outputs do you need? Also how will you be connecting it to your computer? Do you need midi connections also? Making a few assumptions (affordable without being rubbish, 2 ins 2 outs, USB, no midi) I would say the Focusrite Scarlett...

They're doing the sequencer in Euro too:

Pity about the lack of analogue clock in and out, but you can't have everything.

Re: Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synth
Picked one of these up on Saturday and had a quick question. When switching to a init program no matter where vco 2 knob is at It will not respond to wave, pitch or shape change until the mixer knob is moved Does this seem normal? I'm aware of the knob modes of jump, catch and scale and have it set ...

Re: Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Analog Synth
Well the cons are a matter of taste, I've never heard a musical sounding example of aftertouch apart from on the CS-80 so unless it's going to be that why do people still get hung up on it? I doubt anyone that complains about the lack of it would ever use it much anyway and if you do go and buy som...
