So I got the MPD24, it was the only one that I felt was strong enough to gig with. Pity the transport controls don't work natively with Live, but the workaround isn't too hard. I'd be nice if Abes worked out automapping for it though.

I'd take it if it were free but 200 quid is way more than it's worth. You'll have real problems running more than 5 or so fx at once, plus 1GB is just about the minimum for running OSX 10.4.

Save a bit more and get something that you won't be wanting to upgrade in a month, IMO.
