Changing the memory chip TC5514 solved the battery board problem..It now works.

Thank you for the great support.. :D I will look into this and report back. I am also repairing a few old battery boards, I have replaced and fixed the traces on the IC30/31..The counters are now working. But when saving the data is corrupt and i suspect the TC5514. Is there any good replacements fo...

polysix (unusual problem)

The battery board is 100% ok...The 366 board will not tune up and there is some kind of distortion going on..?

Never seen this before....Please any pointers..???

Stay calm and start with the power supply checking all the voltages. I wished I had mentioned you should check it every time you recap each board.
It's easy to get lost when recapping a whole synth in one go.

You will get it working again.. :D

I replied to a guy wanting to buy a TR808...I was thinking of selling mine (not now) and he asked if it was a black face or brown ect....Mine is more black than brown.... :lol:

A MS20 would be a good option....You need a raw sound in there and the ESP section is great.
