I am a huge omni fan and i use it in my productions ....

I restore them as well.

You must replace all the caps on the power board.

The AR tantalums should also be checked ...

As said above it's tricky work and takes time..Even if you are a tech.

there's a moog voyager, that poly synth in the end looks like poly evolver (back-lit wheels). there's a doepfer sequencer behind drummer and a eurorack modular, most likely doepfer, too. as for the new style... overall i like "third", it's even. there are no songs i'd skip. Cheers....I was wonderin...

The best recreation of the theramin sound I heard was on a waldorf pulse.

Most synths can get close but that was impressive.

I have both.... The ob-1 has 2 and 4 pole filter that self oscillates. The ob-x has a sem like filter that doesn't self oscillate. The oscillators are the same. The envelopes are also the same..Most 0B-1's and all the ob-x's use CEM 3310's but mine s/n 004 has discrete envelopes. So except for the f...

I have replaced the fuse and it's fine....Strange.

It's not an easy job to restore this rare synth, The wiring and board quality is pretty poor.

Although it has a unique sound.
