If a model 2800 White Arp Odyssey can be agreed as one first synth, that synth is now 40 years old still here in number and lots working, other than a large chunk of space debris hitting the earth im sure they will be here in 50 years time be they are in a museum or in a old apartment in Ft Worth TX...

Few people would argue upon arrival the Yamaha dx7 meant nothing , my back copies of uk sound on sound magazine showing a arp odyssey for £150 says it did, Vintage is now used often on ebay listings, not just for synths, bicycles also among others, perhaps its time to re group these 1st generation s...

Likewise ive little intrest in digital synths, im always thinking if advances are that good in newer things why are analogues not dead and buried?, if analogues were say a mere 15 years max old i might understand , but they are not and as one example a white 2800 Arp Odyssey which i own 3 of are 40...

Its clear these offerings are from chancers, like a bounty hunter after a bigger buck, watch out when one goes then all h**l will break loose , it seems these chancers are prepared to stick it out.

The repro ones ive seen are not quite the same the italics look thinner, unless you source another vinyl lid, i have plenty of them but the shipping would be too much.

7-1/4" x 2-3/8" no border. Thank you. I think I will wait for a more "proper" one. Customsynth in the UK used to make them, but i dont think they were reflective i could be wrong i have sse them for £1 on ebay uk.

January 2006 Drove a 800 miles round trip to Exeter to buy a Fairlight Cmi 2x , for £1250 i was that tired part way back i got lucky and 1 place was left at a bed and breakfast pub slept like a log, still have the Fairlight .

New years eve 2005 full of a cold drove down from Lincolnshire to Cambridgeshire to pick up 3 Polymoogs for spares 2 280a s and a 203a , a steal at £150 for the 3, thats what you get by not pratting around with sending endless emails about them, pick up the phone and to h**l if all your £10 credit g...

$10 Dollars is a steal the cart is worth triple that here in England, i bought last year a Dx7s with manual and cart working for £20 a steal been in storage ever since.

I just like them in hibernation i have a friend who could repair them if they needed it, perhaps one day they will all be on A frames tested and working, ive seen players who dont look after gear praise the Lord they wont get to mine, ive gone back to cycling so i have even less time to try them out...
