Gotta be quick guys, promised my bro I'd let him watch me play Oblivion. Here's the link.

Some rough edges but I hope you enjoy otherwise. Any feedback appreciated, especially constructive criticism. :)

Very true - the only other modern, knobby and fully analogue synths I can think of are the MFB Synth II, SunSyn and the PAiA Fatman.

For mono it has to be the Octave Cat and for poly it has to be the KORG PolySix.

I just really love those SSM filters. :)

If we are going to be pedantic you would be addressing a Syntactical Nazi and not a Grammar Nazi, regardless of whether the word exists. You're right, but it is still surely in poor taste to point out errors in posts when you know clearly what the original poster meant. This isn't an English litera...

nobody. of course you have never interjected your own pointless opinion in a thread here, OJ... There's a difference between expressing your opinion and effectively just having a go at someone who has a different opinion from yourself. I don't post here to much anymore, you're right. Mostly because...

Here you go... new monosynth back from the dead: http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2007/08/aurora-ar51-synthesizer.html £800 for that? Don't get me wrong but that's a bit pricey considering you can easily get a new MEK and Moog LP Stage for about that! Yes, the inclusion of three oscillators ...

And what the h**l does that all have to do with the thread? He can quote himself in his sig if he likes. Who croaked and made you king? I don't see you posting here that often any more Huppo, but when you do it's usually for the sake of calling someone out - many of the times for something as trivia...

That's because the black keys are arranged in a pentatonic scale. Probably the most used scale in many forms of music.

Just listened to some more demos and this does sound absolutely fantastic!

Can't wait to demo one even if I won't be able to afford one for a long, long, long, long, long time. ;)

Re: new analog monosynth?

i dont need digital oscs, seq, memory. leave these off, sell a bit cheaper.SORTED :D The Little Phatty's worth a look. The Stage edition should be slightly cheaper than the MEK. Yes, yes, yes the MEK can do much more...we know all this. But the LP is simple, effective and most of all fun. If you want...

I personally am interested in it and applaud Dave Smith for listening to the market demands - bold steps once again. I think the price point is totally acceptable too. However I really doubt it'll topple the Andromeda for sheer analogue bliss. And since you can get a second-hand Andy for less than $...
