even may not be as vintage, the Waldorf Pulse with the stereo out, pan and modulation is my perfect analog mono for that type of sounds.

check out the Waldorf MicroQ, along with the uWaveXT those are my go to unit for that down tempo, chill out music. the uQ have the drum maps with sounds that's nice for those type of music. Plus it's flexible engine is a cross between a very powerful analog modelling with a touch of Wavetable, which...

the JD-990 can do a factory reset: Whilst holding EXIT, press UTILITY. Press F6 (EXECUTE) and the F5 (YES).

Yes. I just bought one. Seems to be da best. BTW, Quasimidi is a strange name. I'm also think that the Sirius is the best bet. but since they term of synthesis is not too clear..I wonder which one is using analog modelling and which one is just a sample based synth. I sometime wonder if the Quasar ...
